Tour the Kimberley
There is so much to see and do in the Kimberley it’s hard to know where to start! Our longer duration Kimberley tours take in the best of the best, showing you a range of the sights and attractions in the region. (For shorter trips check out our range of Kimberley Day Tours here).
Top attractions covered in many of the Kimberley tours that we have to offer include awe-inspiring sights and locations such as the Gibb River Road, Broome, Cape Leveque, El Questro, Purnululu National Park (and the Bungle Bungles), Kununurra, Ord River and Lake Argyle. We also offer once in a lifetime experiences in the area, such as remote accommodation at Faraway Bay, Berkeley River Lodge and the Kimberley Coastal camp to name a few.
Best Time to Tour the Kimberley & When to Book
Heavy rainfall during the wet season (November to March) in the Kimberley causes the area to become quite difficult to access during this time, with many roads (including Gibb River Road), National Parks and attractions closing due to unsafe conditions. So it’s really best to visit the Kimberley area during the dry season, from April through October. The weather is perfect during this time – averaging 32°C during the day, with comfortably cool temperatures at night and lower humidity.
The popularity of tours in the area during the dry months means it’s best to book as far in advance as possible. Last minute bookings really ramp up in January-March each year so to avoid disappointment it’s best to book earlier.
