Cruise the Northern Territory & Kimberley Coast from Darwin
You can really only do justice to the coastal beauty of the Northern Territory by seeing the landscape looking in from the water, making a NT cruise the best way to see the area. The majority of our Northern Territory Cruises actually take in all of the sights that the full North-West Coast of Australia has to offer, with many of our NT cruise options spanning the coast from Darwin right around the North West seaboard as far as Broome. This means you can take in experiences such as Tranquil Bay, King George Falls, Hathaway’s Hideaway caves, Mitchell Falls, Aboriginal art on Bigge Island, Horizontal Falls and so much more!
Beginning or ending your cruise in the Northern Territory means you can take time to really explore the multicultural City of Darwin before or after your cruise as there are so many sights to see, both in the city and in the surrounding area. While in the area we would highly recommend checking out some Darwin Day Tours around areas like Litchfield National Park and Kakadu.
Best Time to Cruise the Northern Territory & When to Book
Northern Territory Cruises do not run during the wet season as the weather conditions do not tend to be good for sea trips, so NT cruises only run during the dry season from March to October. The weather in the Northern Territory during dry season is a comfortable 21°C-32°C with warm days, cool nights and lower humidity, making it the perfect time to visit.
Due to this time constriction it’s best to book cruises well in advance – many people booking about 12 months in advance.
We offer a wide range of cruises to experience all that the Northern Territory coast has to offer, which you can browse through below:
